Welcome to AWS reinvent 2018

AWS re:Invent 2018 is Amazon’s biggest worldwide event, and it takes place on November’s last week, from the 26th until the 1st of December. AWS re:Invent told us:“Each year, we’re excited to bring our customers together to network, engage, and learn more about AWS, at the largest gathering of the cloud computing community.”

This year, more than 50,000 people is attending to this AWS massive event.

These week has been full of surprises regarding on the AWS Cloud. Until today, Amazon has announced more than 10 new products and services. One of the conferences presented today, “The Worldwide Public Sector Breakfast”, was focused on announcing some new services and networks to make social goods through technology. One of these examples is the GMC engine, a Global Missing Children Network or the AWS GovCloud service.

Talking about Artificial Intelligence (AI), It was being said (last year) that Amazon was not paying enough attention on developing new products and services regarding the AI. This year, Andy Jassy, Amazon’s CEO, introduced Amazon SageMaker. This is a modular service that allows customers to build machine-learning models, train algorithms, and then host them in different environments. Furthemore, this technology includes a new set of audio, video and language processing.

We are now facing a new era, we are even having elections ran and tabulated in the Cloud, one example of this is Mexico, which, with the help of some AWS partners, reported this year results from federal elections. Who would imagine it? The Cloud is changing our life style and the AWS is reinventing our World.

If you want to know more about the most important AWS cloud event, I’ll recommend you to visit the AWS re:Invent 2018 offcial page, so that you can know more about the conferences and exhibitors they are presenting.
