  • Refactored and optimized existing code to improve performance.
  • Migrated workflows to run on PySpark using Amazon EMR, achieving faster data processing.
  • Stored the refined code in a secure Bitbucket repository supported by CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments, covering the entire workflow from data collection to inference.
  • An existing Java application, which previously took hours to process files, was rewritten in PySpark.
  • Migrated the application to Databricks, enabling real-time data processing.
  • Set up a new Change Data Capture process using Apache Kafka, reducing file processing times from hours to minutes.
