Their web application works on Symphony (PHP Framework). It had two web servers along with an NFS server and two load balancers on Rackspace, which caused them to pay a lot of money.
The most important thing to resolve was the high price of the IT billing. ClickIT proposes a migration to Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Pepper Leaf accepted, so we got the ball rolling to attract lots of benefits and solve their actual problems.
We started with the server and app discovery to create a new environment on AWS. After that, we installed the SSL (to ensure the app security), implemented a backup strategy (in case of emergency) and proceeded to resynchronize all the database (to avoid losing data or users) and, in the end, ClickIT proceeded to migrate the Rackspace DNS to AWS.
