- THE
Client Project
Alight Analytics platform needed to perform maintenance on the infrastructure for all environments used by their developers on different AWS accounts.
Alight Analytics helps end-users provide selected data with mapping, demographics, and real-state (Similar to Google Maps) on AWS under a monolith Java and PHP application approach including EC2, RDS, ECS, Amazon S3, CloudFront and VPC.
- THE
Challenge
Initially, Alight Analytics had poor AWS best practices, no security controls for all their servers, instances, APIs, and an unstable system lacking DevOps, Automation, and CI-CD best practices.
It was hosted on Azure and AWS, and they needed to improve their security within their AWS environment, servers, and software. Apart from this, they required to be PCI compliant to integrate and collaborate with their Bank’s APIs and systems, Top National banks, including Bank of America, Visa, and Wells Fargo.
- REQUIREMENTS
Support an always-available cloud-based platform & support application deployments
Ensure adequate monitoring and reporting to be able to identify problems, and resolve/escalate them as appropriate
Tools and processes building to support the infrastructure and improve automation for manual elements
Maintain accurate and up to date documentation on the current infrastructure and system support documents
- OUR
Implemented Service
We helped Alight Analytics to comply with third-party banks fulfilling the 12 PCI compliance requirements. Aside from this, we guide their development team to leverage PCI compliance’s security best practices. We gave them mature AWS/DevOps practices to continue operational excellence to increase time to market, increase development agility and productivity.
